"on a roll"

I guess these sandwiches are near a bun? Or they are referencing the expression "on a roll" in a weird way? Thanks g.

This means that the sandwich starts out on a roll; but after you try to take a bite, the fillings fall out! =)

Order any of the last three sandwiches at your own risk: We've been making them right lately, but you never can tell when our luck will run out.
