This is so sweet. I hate to criticize a teacher for writing it. Maybe Mrs. R. just had a “yen” for Gabe.
I think the quote marks are why his mother kept it. I wonder though, did she ever find out the nature of addedto theclass?
Gabe found this in his mother's collection from his childhood. He didn't say what kind of "special" behavior he might have engaged in.
