well since most salons rent out stations and the contract hairstylists to work certain rates this does make some sense.
Yeah, that's what I was going to say. In Soviet Russia, hairstylist pays YOU for job... well, in the U.S., too.
You better watch it, or I'll start a blog of unnecessary comma splices.
