Make-up can leave stains, esp. mascara. I dont like using a hotel/inn towel that has a make-up stain on it, makes it look dirty. So if the innkeeper can bleach these smaller towels and have them used for make-up removal, what's the big deal?

My grandmother used to leave notes like that all over her house whenever she had guests.
