My dad spotted this on a recent hotel stay. I guess the alarm does not actually sound like that, they just wanted to write whoop whoop on the paper. And who wouldn't.
@Joe St, in an emergency dial NOTHING, no wait, dial everything-- or the number that you THINK is a zero (since the smoke will make it impossible to see and your mind will be distracted by the alarm going 'whoop, whoop')
So if you hear something that sounds like an alarm, but it sounds more like "beep beep" to you, probably everything is JUST FINE and you can continue watching your TV show.
did anyone else find these way too hilarious? why would they even write that out? is that a common question at that hotel? "Excuse me sir, but what exactly does this 'alarm' sound like?" (followed by pointing the sign)

ReplyDeleteWV: spight---Someone mockingly put the charade players words on the sign just for spight
They posted that to help guests distinguish the alarm from the many other loud noises they'll be hearing during their stay.
ReplyDeleteCan I get a...
ReplyDeleteThey forgot to add that everyone is supposed to evacuate to Studio 54 for a disco party.
ReplyDeleteDial any number near the zero in case of emergency.

ReplyDeleteMaybe dial a capital O and see what happens....
ReplyDelete"Whoop, Whoop - Salt the fries!"
ReplyDeleteAny Aggies around?
