Reminds me of the signs: this apartment protected by a burgler alarm sign. And, if you substitute the 'f' word for the characters, the resulting term sounds more like a confession...
Shouldn't it be "...we are going to %&0% YOU up"? Maybe they were %&0%ed up when they made the sign.
@Michael: I was thinking the same. Whether or not they were %&0%ed up (and they really shouldn't put a numeral in there), they surely did %&0% up.
@mdm-adph, i guess it's like people who sometimes use quotation marks for emphasis...
