@Great Joe, it says 'atte.' so i think they're placing an order. Why would their "dear costumers" be SERVing food? I guess that's why they cherish them so.
I gotta hint from my daughter, it's a specialty restaurant where every day it's CarniVal! Party down!!! (some of those costumers get a little roudy at times and start tossing the china during the singing of their favorite drinking song "Tacos por favor" Ole!)
I have friends who're seriously into costume-making as a hobby -- if you've ever seen the mess a bunch of cosplayers can make of a room, you'd understand why a restaurant might need signs directed specifically at them...
Is "Tacos Por Favor" the name of the restaurant or an unrelated thought? "Don't throw away water cups or soup plates. Also I want some tacos please."

ReplyDeleteMaybe this is only directed to costumers (people who make costumes), and everyone else can throw away cups and bowls to their hearts' content.
ReplyDeleteAnd how exactly does one serve soup on a plate? That doesn't seem like it would work very well to me.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's directed at Kim Jong-Il, North Korea's "Dear Leader." He likes westerns and whiskey, maybe he likes tacos too.
ReplyDelete@Micheal, i dunno, Kim Jong-il 'dear leader' to some but more of a tough 'costomer'
ReplyDeleteAnd clearly they *don't* like the costumers, but are trying to be polite about it by calling them Dear!

ReplyDelete(The quotes, of course, refer to "Dear"...)
only a costumer would eat soup off of a plate
