I agree with Galadriel. Jim probably isn't the name on his birth certificate, but everyone calls him that as a nickname. Are we making fun of necessary quotes now?

Steph... Depending on the rules of your election board, you would may be required to use quotes to have "Steph" Appear on the ballot.
More than likely, Mr. White shows up on the ballot as James "Jim" White.
I think it "hopeful" and ironic that the street signs indicate the intersection of Wealthy and Eastern in Grand Rapids, MI.
