This is a non-fundamentalist Christian being honest that for them the traditional belief in the Second Coming is a symbol of eschatological hope that stands outside of time yet also stands in judgment of each moment of human history. Kind of obvious, really.
Plus having it as a bumper sticker, e.g., doesn't out them (as one of them librul types) to their fundamentalist mother.
