Somebody is welcome, somebody like you, but not you in particular. Thanks, Dan.

  1. They won't even let you in their shelters if you're gay. Won't hire you, either. True story. No quarters in YOUR happy-bucket, Mr. Santa-Bell.

  2. Wow, I think I know where this sign is! Do you know if it is St. Louis? I used to live there and think this is a building I passed probably about once a week.

  3. Sorry Jared, Dan said he took it in Halifax. I bet they mass produce them.

Coke, I didn't know that about Salvation Army. Thanks for the info.

  4. Coke's comment is only partly right:

  5. Gays are, indeed, refused services, whether their corporate policy is to do so or not. An openly gay person will be asked to renounce homosexuality upon entering a shelter or he or she will not be admitted, or will soon be removed for no other reason. The Salvation Army wants the people they help at shelters to be Christian and straight. This would not apply to emergency shelters, I'm sure, but to homeless shelters.
