No, it's a specialty barbershop that caters to transvestites. You know how barbershops have that sort of 'gathering place' quality to them, like a hangout...
If by "real," you mean, "so staggeringly insecure in your masculinity that you need a 'barber shop' to tell you that you are, indeed, male," I think you'd be right on the money.
Or else it's for mannequins.
