Okay this has nothing to do with the quotation marks but, if ALL records are "priced as marked" then how can there be some with no price?
"The CLERK" sounds like some 9 foot tall half-man half-monster that you have to physically challenge to determine the price of the record.

Well, there was a "Super Mario RPG" villain called The Clerk, followed by The Manager, The Director, and The Factory Chief....
