Alan writes, "I spotted this while waiting in one of many lines to board a Princess cruise ship to Alaska in Seattle. Yes, I believe the government did spend more than $5 for Alaska. If they are referring to the hats, I saw many at lower prices while I was in Alaska."
I for one think it's an excellent catch phrase that I will use from now on. That party was great. "Cheaper than Alaska!"
