Song titles, of course, are marked acceptably by quotation marks. However, calling a combination of songs in a show a "musical" and not a musical is funny, even if it is likely accurate. Thanks, MJ.
i actually think that it's just a bad translation, and the show they're putting on is called "Musical." look at the italian version above. now my knowledge of italian is, well, rudimentary, but it seems like the songs are all used in their production of a poorly named musical titled "Musical." (they should've just left out the "a" in the phrase "into a 'Musical.'") orrrrr they're just really worried about how the show will turn out.
Maybe there are only a few songs. Or maybe it borders on opera.
ReplyDeletemore likely a lack of confidence in the performers.... as in "they call this a musical?"
