hey you! to get a job!


Yeah. When you walk up to your kid and say "to get a job" it will become clear that you are the intelligent, successful one in the relationship. Thanks, Ben.

perhaps it is intended as an opening salvo, as in: to get a job one must make applications....

Young people weren't ever called "slackers" until the recession in the early 90s. Funny how that term is in use again.
It's the economy, stupid.

interesting observation Sitboaf. it is a special kind of insensitivity to tell anybody to just "get a job" in this climate. I know plenty of people who would love one, thanks.

You people are missing the point. The "to" is also within the quotation marks. Get it now?

yeah, I thought it would make sense not to include "to" in the quotes. More than likely one would say "get a job."

"to get a job" one must not design a sign such as this. It's a game. Your kid has to finish the sentence.
