I think this may be a cleverly disguised subliminal message addressed to zombies. These kind shopkeepers just want them to know there are edibles available. And perhaps, just perhaps, they would like to donate Stamp's brain first.
I think the owner is so kind, I heard that those who are poor will be given food stamps to buy food, I really give credit to the owner, however his/her English is not so good. Anyways whoever have food stamps will be so glad to see the sign as it means they will have food to eat though they do not have cash!
I submitted a photo of this same sign last week :(:(. How come this one made it on and not mine. boo! Though I am glad that the world gets to see this sign that I pass every single day!
