Yep, I'm guessing "donuts" is the name of a play like @Andrew said. Must be a police-themed play.
Trust me, the executive vice president and chief financial officer were not acting out a play about the police. They were answering questions and giving out donuts. "Theater" actually should be in quotations because it is more of a conference room.
Maybe they're more like bagels. Of course, I've seen so-called bagels that come close to donuts more than vice versa.
