Perhaps they want only people who possess a certain amount of maturity to use the coffee machine. If you're an intellectual child, it doesn't matter if you're 6, 16 or 60, you still can't use it. Of course, expecting people to recognize, and accept their intellectual inferiority is going to be a problem, imho
Well, maybe "adults" include teenagers over the age of 16?
ReplyDeleteOn an unrelated note, I love the creepy font for the sign!
Oh, I guess only "adults" can handle "very hot" liquids. Good to know.

ReplyDeleteLet's not forget that the water is "very hot" possibly denoting it's lukewarm state.

ReplyDeleteHere's hoping the adult who made that sign is forced to jones for his/her caffeine fix with the rest of the underage nonpeople.
ReplyDeleteNot only that, but the sign says that the coffee/water coming from the machine is hot enough to burn, which is for the safety of children.
ReplyDeleteYou see, when the coffee/water burns the child, he or she becomes much more aware of safety from that point onward.
