The most perplexing part of this sign is not the quotation marks, but the parenthesis. Something like Gell Caps are NOW!!!! but their availability is a side-note. Thanks, Matt.

This jewel was on a gas pump at the Murphy's Oil attached to our local Walmart. Can't you just taste the excitement at restoring stimulants to the menu?
They probably put it in quotes because they knew they had misspelled gel.

ReplyDeleteI'm a bit surprised the sign maker didn't make the message more verbose to utilize MORE of the typeface and word art capabilities.
