I think what's particularly tell (or disturbing) about this sign is that it's handmade with magic marker on poster board.
Boy, nothing like a hand-lettered sign to boost brand image.
the home-made-ness of this sign also immediately threw up a Red Flag for me. Seriously, marker? I'm sorry, but I believe I'll be banking at an institution that can actuall AFFORD to get their signs about their services printed.
but, that's just me.

Chase is supposed to be one of the more solid banks these days. With all that bailout cash, they couldn't afford printed signs?
To be fair, instead of supplying them with printed signs, most companies provide a chalk/white board and chalk/markers and make the employees draw on it, and change it every week or so. Almost every bank in my area does that, as well as the store I used to work at. As cheap as it is to look at, it's fun wen you get to take 30 minutes drawing on the board instead of helping customers.
This was taken in a local grocery store. This "branch" has a single desk and an ATM. That's why you see flowers in the background :)
It's my favorite local branch, though, because the ATM doesn't require deposit slips. I just toss a big pile of cash in there, or checks, and it reads them all and totals them for me :)
I recently went through a re-branding excise we had to paint the new logo on to the mugs... I worked for Bear Stearns.
Spot on Adam and thanks for sharing! I get the same feel good, fuzzy feeling whenever I toss a big pile of cash in there, in fact, even when the government does it for me.
Were I Adam I'd be worried about the ambiguity of "deposit."
Well, at least they're being "honest."
