"We Are Different!"

I am really unsure how Christian medicine is different from any other good doctors, so maybe these quotation marks are correct. We imagine that we are different! Thanks, Sam.

At least they aren't "different."

Hi, just discovered your blog from a colleague. Never too late!
Billions of great writing pieces... Impressive.

It seems we are doing the same kind of job in ours, although it's in french, and we are much more boring, because we're academics, you know...

Is this similar to Christian Scientists? If so, I wouldn't recommend going there for medical treatment...

I don't think this is an unnecessay quotation. It's a quote. You may not know who or what they are quoting, but it's perfectly acceptable.

If they had said

We are "different"

you might have had something.

This one seems fine to me.

Of course, maybe you're just being intentionally hostile because they're identifying themselves as Christian...

whoa whoa, calm down. If you read my personal blog you will find that I am myself a committed christian (which may make me more suspicious of others who broadcast their "christian" medicine - as it implies that other doctors are not). About quotation marks, though. Just because they aren't incorrect does not make them necessary. lighten up.

Christian Doctor: "I've got good news, bad news and The Good News. The good news is you're going to heaven. The bad news is you're going there today. The Good News is that God sent his son Jesus down to earth to live as a man, and die for your sins! Pretty good, huh?" ^_^

Hi, the doctors say "We are different" - this is a quote, quoted speech.

Seems borderline to me. They're definitely unnecessary, in the sense that the sign would be perfectly fine without them, but they're not wrong.

I also question whether "we are different!" is really a plus when shopping for medical services, but that's another issue.
