I once had "coffee and doughnut," which is not to be confused with "coffee" and "doughnut." "Coffee and doughnut" is when they put a teaspoonful of instant powdered coffee into the doughnut batter (dough?), and then you only need a cup of hot water for dunking, as the coffee is already in the doughnut.

No thanks, I like real coffee. Cream, no sugar. TYVM.
I've been to plenty of restaurants that serve "coffee".
