some service

ok, they actually want you to say "please" and "thank you". I assume if you do not, they will say "no service" and serve you anyway? Thanks, Charlie.

  2. It's getting difficult to wade through all these multiple negatives.. I haven't got a clue what any of this means!

  3. The quotes in this one seem somewhat legitimate, since they're asking you to say "please" and say "thank you."

  4. Most of the authors/creators of examples on this blog clearly intend to simply emphasize the word(s) in quotation marks. What's weird is that in so many of the examples, the words they set off with quotation marks are already otherwise emphasized (by the use of a different font, underlining, or all caps).
