what do they really mean by "save"?
i used to pass that sign every morning on my way to work. i feel pretty stupid that i never even noticed the useless quotation marks.
The difference is "quotability."
Well,the alleged "beer" is Budweiser...
Considering the beverage is Budweiser I'd say the use of quotation marks is totally justified.
"Save" = You'll pay less than any other store in a 40-foot radius charges for the same "beer." And twice as much as you'd pay at the nearest actual store, 20 miles away.
