oh dear

I don't know what kind of fun they expect you to have, but it sounds dirty. Thanks, Nicola.

  2. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a play on words for cheap. "Cheap fun" - because you can go to a farm and see sheep shearing. Which I guess can be fun if you don't have TV, books, music, hobbies or don't know any games. Or your car breaks down next to the farm...

But in any case, it's a disturbing oversight.

  4. I think it would be far more disturbing without the quotation marks.

  6. maybe the thing is that it's not so much fun for the sheep.

  8. I think this is actually an example of a necessary quotation mark.
