Perhaps they're going for some sort of retro feel by bringing us back to a world where strange new words like "refillable" were looked upon with fear and suspicion, and HAD to be handled with quotation marks or you were suspected of being a communist corrupting our youth.
I like to imagine thfries as sort of organic pixie-stix filled not with colored sugar, but mashed potato instead. If that's not right, then consider this coment a copyright, and patent for mashed potato pixie-stix
