not for you

Jim spotted this one. Apparently they may not be for sale for certain people.

  1. That must be one heck of a sale if you only have to pay 3/4 of a cent for it! haha.

  2. Or maybe it isn't a sale at all. Of course at .75 cents (is that what it says?), that's a pretty good deal. Another entry for the "blog" of "unnecessary" decimal points.

  3. Actually, it's "cents point seven five", whatever that means. I believe that dollar signs go before a number and cent signs come after.

  4. Yeah, what's up with the epidemic of misplaced dollar signs and cents signs?

  5. Misplaced dollar and cent signs, misplaced decimal points, "unnecessary" quotation marks, overworked apostrophes. What else? Basically boils down to mass illiteracy, I guess.

  6. How can $..*.75.!. be construed as anything BUT a sale?

  7. Aaahhh, because it isn't "$.75"; It's "c.75", and who knows what that really means?!

  8. It's obvious that it's not a "sale," but just the regular price being hyped as is customary at the grocery. Still, a good deal.
