the future is sometime

I don't know exactly when the future is, but it may or may not be now. And what's up with the parenthesis? Thanks, Chris.

  1. Isn't it obvious? What they mean is that the future is the word "now". ;-)

(The parentheses are still inexplicable, though.)

  2. Somehow, the "now" doesn't seem very convincing.

  3. The future is "come fly with a friend," of course!

  4. Dang it, sotosoroto, you beat my punchline by about 90 minutes. Well played.

  5. I actually read this and left the word now out entirely.

    It's confusing.

  6. Ignoring the punctuation errors, that's a terrible sign anyway! Why is ("NOW!")? And why is it another colour? And off to the side?

    Arrrggh!

Sign-writers union need to come pay them a little visit I think.

  7. I'm wondering about the fact that "3 X Trim" is also in red, in the upper left. It's almost as though the instructions were to write the word "NOW" 3 times as big, or to write it three times ("Now, now, now!") but the printer wrote out the instructions instead of doing what the instructions said (?)
