Jen saw this in Mexico. Does the double quotes actually mean they DON'T have beer? If that's the case, I think those equals signs around happy need to become quotation marks - what kind of happy hour doesn't have beer?
Sounds like a positively disgruntled hour to me. And I've heard of domestic beer (which we may or may not find here) but what the hell are domestic drinks?
This definitely does NOT make me happy! And what kind of quotation marks ARE those? Are they doing a Mexican hat dance?

ReplyDelete"No beer", but the barman could be persuaded to find some at a price ;).
ReplyDeleteThose are not quotation marks. I'm sorry.
ReplyDeleteThey're like some "things" to accent what they "think" is important.
Mediocre Hour
