Obviously they are imaginary "lunch customers".... because I thought it was going to say, these tables are reserved for lunch customers so clear out/sit over there/etc during that time... but instead, it turns into a desperate little plea.... So please stay for lunch! Since you know, you're already sitting at this table reserved for "lunch customers" you might as well become a real lunch customer.
I think "lunch customers" are kind of like tough customers, except between the hours of 12 and 2. Thanks, Amy.
