I'm enjoying the blog, but a lot of these signs that quote full sentences seem OK to me. When I read these kind of slong/sentence quotes, my impression is not accidental implied irony, but rather an impression that they are saying this directly to you, thr customer. If this was a TV commercial, it would be the point where the script switches from a professional announcer to the cheerful smiling employees.
Just my 2 cents. Full sentences in quotes are a lot less funny to be that the typical adjective or noun mid-sentence.
