quotation marks around the world

Dave saw this in Ko Phi Phi Don, Thailand. I will admit that countries that don't use our letters should not be held to the same standards, but it is still in question whether their beer is actually draught, and to what degree they are closed.

  1. Beer in Thailand is notoriously horrible. Maybe that has something to do with it.

  3. I concur. What is in question is not whether or not something is closed but just what it is that is closed.

  4. I'd like to point out that the price of that beer is extremely expensive for Thailand. Maybe they were using the quotation marks to distract the punters from it?
