Bizarre.
Mmmm! Old jalapenos are spicier anyway.
Oddly placed UQMs and an accent aigu instead of a tilde over the N. Makes me wonder what's in the sauce.
I wonder if it is really sauce at all...and I am beginning to notice that restaurant signs seem to be perpetual perpetrators of this blog...
I'm really not sure that there is anything wrong with this sign. It says that they have a sauce called "New Jalapeño". Not the same as "We have new jalapeño sauce", which I would have interpreted as "We have newly made sauce that contains jalapeños".
Wierd formatting is something I think sign makers are entitled to do.
ctail: it's a free country, sign-makers are entitled to format, spell and punctuate any way they want. I am allowed to intentionally misinterpret things they say for my own amusement.

I think perhaps it was the creative spelling of jalepeno that required the quote marks. Then some nosy person "fixed" it and made them look silly.

No one else noticed the "i" in "Jalepino"? I'm assuming it's some sort of juniper-flavored spicy sauce.
What is that sign on the right supposed to say? Fried orange something?
