Sarah's brother got this for their dad. I don't know how clear the biology is or isn't in their family, but she points out that the pun quotes are NOT around the word saw.
Maybe it's a hint that Sarah's brother thinks their dad should go on that "My Dad is Better Than Yours" show to prove if he's really a Dad or just a "Dad" And, in my defense, I only know that show even exists because of TWoP.
I think the QMs are completely appropriate. At least, they would be for MY "dad". He left when I was 5, we saw him 4 times in 15 years, and he showed up at my wedding and STOOD IN MY WEDDING PHOTOS. (He's got balls. You gotta give him that.) "Dad" for sure.
clearly, someone got a little ahead of themselves with the craftiness. don't aim too high, people. then you end up with menacing fridge magnets with poor punctuation.

maybe dad had some gender issues?
If this person was an adopted orphan or step-child, this could be a very powerful use of " " to the "dad"
Next he'll be requesting paternity tests.
Between the quotes and the saw, I'm sensing a veiled threat.
He's the best "dad" of all the other "dads" this psycho killer has sawed. Serious father issues?
Hysterical!
