Ok, the "Jesus" thing is getting a little old, but the spelling error on this (or IS IT an error) is really too much. For more crummy church signs, see the relevant blog. Thanks, Lindsay.
I always thought I was dirty-minded, laughing to myself as I sang in church, "Oh how much he was willing to [bare]" -- at least now I see that maybe I will have company in hell.
And my brother-in-law always refers to "Gladly the Cross-Eyed Bear" as lyrics he always misheard in church as a child. (He's a much purer guy!)
That's awesome! I lived in Ooltewah, TN for about 10 years. It's just a couple miles north of Chattanooga, where I live now. I ASSUME this is the Ooltewah in TN; I've heard of no others.

He know! Oh, Jesus, do he know!
Oh... my... God. And I'm not praying!
Where be Ooltewah?
I've seen a few butcherings due to a dearth of the appropriate letters...but, well, "bare" has all the right letters.
He know!
Oh dear me. And haha what lynn said.
Is our spelling getting worse because we're getting dumber or because we're in a hurry or what?

Ha! This is a great site. I found you through passiveagressivenotes.com.
Thanks for the laughs!
My eyes just aren't good enough, what exactly does it say?
When I first saw "Ooltewah," I thought THAT was misspelled. So I guess the rest fits right in.
Also, apparently Jesus is a little bit of a peeping tom, knowing how much I can bare and all.
Good lord.
Jesus is always watching, y'know.

It is Ooltewah TN and the sign says "Jesus"
He know how much you can bare.
Yes, He do know.
I'd like the name of the town better if it were backward... I thought it was... Hawetloo.... whatever...
