cheesesteak with hanging quotations

Plenty of people seem to want to point out that they are not, in fact, in Philly. What makes this one special is the extra set of closed quotes. Perhaps it also doesn't have much to do with cheese or steak? Thanks, Erin.

  1. General cheese steak rule - any time you see one described in a menu as "Philly" or Philadephia," don't order it. In places where real cheese steaks are served, no city identification is needed.

  2. I think the third quotation marks are actually a superscript 11, and that on the back of the menu, under 10 other footnotes describing things like the dangers of undercooked meats and the option of coleslaw instead of fries, is the URL of this post.

  3. Can I get a 2D BLT? That third dimension really freaks me out!

  4. That looks like an Eat -N-Park menu. They're loaded with unnecessary quotations. It's a treasure trove of material.
