Kerwin saw this at a bakery in Oakland, CA. We agree that there's a restroom/behind joke to be made here. But that is perhaps best left to your collective imagination.
Happy V-day.

With regard to the bathroom humor, I was going to say "I won't even go there" but even that sounded like a bathroom joke. I'll just quietly chuckle to myself.
It seems they want you to pretend to lock the door so they can live out some forbidden fantasy.
And it's very difficult to close a door behind you. They want to make sure you realize that you should turn around to "lock" the door, rather than fumbling with it behind your back.

Maybe "lock" is a euphemism for something. "Preserve the integrity of"?
Ohhhh, good idea. Maybe my life will become less messy if I stop locking the door in front of me.
maybe this is a secret code:
pssst, hey buddy! the door is never locked, and 'behind' is not exactly what you think it means.
I think this refers to ensure you have a "locked behind". They don't want any hanky panky in the bathroom.
