Eric in WA sent me this one. It's like someone wrote this especially for the "blog". I can't think of any other explanation. And what's the deal with the (SAFETY)?

I loves to watches the little childrens as they plays in the parks.
It's too bad they put all those other QMs in there because just leaving it at "PARENTS" would have been a wonderful slam on peole who don't rein in their kids.
I was just about to say Hall of Fame too. Good grief. I don't understand (SAFETY) either! I was just trying to read this to my mom over the phone with the quotation marks. I don't think she understood at all.
SAFETY - Probably a common acronym regarding parenting in WA. I think it means Stupid, Abhorrant Freakshow, Enigma of Trash and Yearning. Or "whatever".
not quite the bradys I agree if the only QM was "PARENTS" it would have been a hilarious slander on "parents" that don't pay attention to "their" (KIDS)!
The whole thing is a roller coaster of wonder...and then it leaves me hanging with the final "Thank You," - thank you, what? what??? arrrrgh. I may not be able to sleep after this one.
I too would love to see the Spanish version under it! I also like the random capitalization. It would make more sense if everything was capitalized except the articles. For example: "Do not let them Run." Just because not, let, and them are short words, does not mean they are lesser words and don't deserve capitalization. And I bet some people that work there are upset that they concluded with "Management, Thank you" because I know, that there must have been at least one person in the management that realized how many mistakes there were. And shouldn't "Childrens" be "Children's." I was unaware that we can now make an already plural word even more plural. But as much as it irks me, this sign does make me giddy.
I have it. This is obviously the result of a Mad Libs. The quotes are actually quotes from random people in Management shouting out parts of speech. They were so pleased with how it came out that they posted it where everyone could see.
(SAFETY) is the result of missing one of the blanks, and filling it in after the fact. In all caps, for some reason.
I think "childrens" IS the extra plural version of "children." It is proper to use when the "childrens" are being really (BAD)because in that case, there seems like there are more of them than there really are. It's a (perception) "issue."

Whoa. This one is a killer. Scary too.
MY EYES! MY EYES!!!!
Now that I've finished twitching I just want to say that my favorite part is at the bottom where it seems to say "The Management, Thank you."
Yes, take a bow. Indeed.
Unreal.
I like "Unattended" "In Shopping Carts." They don't even have quotation mark continuity!
This looks like the Zagat survey for every time I see kids in public. Seriously, what happened to parenting?!

Good. Lord!
"Amazing," sometimes.
This is honestly incredible. Good find.
Ow! Ow! Ow!
Wow, it's frankly hard for me to believe that this wasn't written especially for the blog. If not... wow.
Okay. This is absolutely one of the worst offenders... ah!
Hall of fame!
good call, mitchell. Done.

I love this site.
I believe the "Unattended" "In Shopping Carts" is due to the rule that says you can't have an open quotation extend to the next line.
You know... that rule I just made up?
Holy schmoly. Niiiiice.
this almost seems too good to be true. great find.
This one takes the cake. Hall of fame!
The lamination is a nice touch.
xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh man, that's gotta be photoshopped. Hilarious.
This looks the greeting cards I get from my mother.
(SAFETY) -- Parentheses must be the new quotation marks. Combine them will allcaps and you've got a tasty cocktail of incoherent punctuation.
I want to see the spanish version below this one...
Ouch!
This is the most incredible sign I've ever seen.
OK, I have to find this place. I just have to. Is telling us ("ME") the location of this against the rules?
I think I found the correct email, and if I did it was taken at the St. Vincent Center in Ellensburg, Washington.
That's only a hundred miles away, and I've got a three day weekend!! Road trip!!
I am happy to confirm that it is at St. Vincents thrift store, for real. Saw it in Ellensburg this weekend. It's worth the roadtrip!

so many mistakes. so little time.
It's like they have purposely made as many different grammatical mistakes as possible, to teach us a 'lesson' on 'grammar'.
This actually cracked me a new one.

Oh, my sides! **BOOKMARKED**
(SAFETY)
Do not let them...

Definition.
I think...
Anyway, epic text !
Looks like the headquarters of unnecessary QMs !
"Thanx"!
I would like to see if the same rules for quotation marks apply to the version en español just below it.
Hey, some days I do feel like a "parent."
Can you imagine the proprietor seeing all the people and saying thanks for coming. And then someone explaining "We're just here to see the sign".
It only makes sense if you read it in Shatner Mode.
