Knowing the current state of the industry, the sign is probably so that the baggage handlers know their games of hockey using passengers' bags have to stop 40 minutes before the flight.
that gives them more than enough time to rifle through your stuff, make snide comments to each other about your resort wear, take pictures of themselves in your bra, and toss it in the general direction of the plane.
I'm surprised the sign doesn't do a little wink-wink beside "be checked."
ReplyDeleteBut now I'm so confused. Are the bags to be checked needing to be checked or "checked"?
ReplyDeleteThey might check your bags, or they might take them somewhere, lose them, any maybe give them back eventually if they find them.
