Another one from Anna, with this commentary:
Perhaps their burgers are like that kid in high school whose name is actually John or Mike or something boring and suddenly decides he's going by something more badass, and for some reason thinks "Angus" is badass.

It's like whoever made the sign has no idea what "angus" means, but has heard the word tacked on to other burgers, so he decides to just throw it in there. Hedging his bets that it's a "real" word, he throws on the QMs.
(that's right using the abbreviation from an anonymous poster who, oddly enough, didn't use his/her anonymity to criticize the blog for no good reason. Miracles do happen, I guess.)
Yay!
Let's use all the fonts on our computer to make the menu!
Also, ain't no way I'm paying for an "angus" burger unless it's actually angus. Is there such a thing as semi-angus?
Okay, so I'm pretty sure I've seen this menu before. Is it from VYNL, in New York City? I would love some confirmation - it's like when you know you recognize that guest star on Law and Order from somewhere, and can't continue watching until you've looked it up on IMDB. I order takeout from there all the time, though, so I don't know what it says about me that I never noticed their questionably named burger.
Anyway, thanks in advance, and love the blog! It's my favorite place for a quick shot of procrasination.
Yes, it's from VYNL...I'd actually noticed it several times on the menu and then was pleased when I ended up eating there very shortly after I started reading this blog.
@sitboaf: incidentally, this restaurant has one of the weirdest menus...it's a combination of thai food and "comfort food" like meatloaf and mac and cheese. maybe they were trying to get that across in their font selection?
thai food plus mac n cheese?? this fusion nonsense has got to stop!
and yay for QMs!!! jeff, i'm a frequent anon poster (my name is kat), and i follow the usual protocol of jokery, but i typically come late to the game, so you may not notice my non-critical little tidbits. we're not all bad.. :)
Angus is badass
If he watched a lot of Macgyver, of course he thought the name Angus was badass.
That burger's been sitting around so long that they've started anthropomorphizing it. "And how are ye today, then, Angus?"
