Margi found both these refrigerator magnets. That's how I feel about for-profit health care too.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this "blogsite"!! Unnecessary quotation marks have been one of my pet peeves for years! These are so funny. I can't wait to have the opportunity to "contribute" in some way, however "small."
ok, y'all, you should read the FAQ, but here's the deal: 1) if it's a quotation it should be attributed. 2) this isn't the blog of ungrammatical quotation marks, it's the blog of unnecessary quotation marks. 3) chill out.
If I saw "Dedicated to your health" on a sign at the doctor's office, I would get back in my car and drive home. I don't care how sick I was. I wouldn't want to risk it!
Ah, the "houlier than thou" police. What would we do without them? It's for fun. Shut up. We don't care if the quotes are grammatically correct, they're funny. And I think I'd worry about the wrath of Bethany more than the wrath of Jeff. Rawr.

These quotes aren't misplaced. They're attributing the line to whomever owns the shop.
I wonder why they put 6th St. South rather than S. 6th St. -- is that a regional thing?
Yeah, what Anonymous said. Whole quotes in, er, quotes, as a slogan, is acceptable.

"chill out."--Bethany
Good advice, esp. given the strident and superior tones in anonymous 4:17's and delayra's comments.

jeff very consistently and fearlessly defends bethany's right to snark on quotes. i'm just saying he's a force to be reckoned with.
