don't have to speak at all

I wonder if you put your gender specification in quotation marks that makes it not discrimination? I'll definitely be "calling" them soon. Thanks, Mark.

  1. The phone number belongs to an executive member of the PTA of La Mesa Elementary School in Monterey, CA.

    Which makes me 'infuriated'.

  2. I think the quotes are there so that when they get in trouble for specifying English-speaking females only, they can be like "It was a joke... look, the quotes... the quotes!!!"

Seriously, isn't that shit illegal in America?

  4. Matt - all blogspot blogs have rss feeds and if you just cut and paste the url for this one into your rss reader it should be all set.

  8. There's just so much wrong with this one!!!! Gah!

Thanks for this blog -- I can't tell you how much I look forward to it each day! It's so nice to know that I'm not the only one who spits coffee when I see mangled English on signs!!!

    Keep up the good work!

  13. I think that last quotation mark is in the wrong place. "Female" preferred.
