flee the market

Lorraine at curious signs sent me this one. I must say, the spelling is funnier than the quotes here - a market you want to run away from? Except I guess the quotes mean not really. So a market you sarcastically want to run away from. I guess.

  1. "Wanna go to the flea market?"

"Pfft, 'flee market' is more like it."

  2. it's in quotes because they're telling the market to flee. the only incorrect punctuation is the comma and exclamation point: "Flee, market!"

  3. does their saturday snowplowing induce fleeing? is that why an owner/operated is wanted?

  4. I thought you could not flee because first they would need to plow so you can get out?
