i live around the corner from this dry cleaner. As a chemistry major, I'm more concerned with the fact that the term organic solvent does NOT connote something that's environmentally friendly.

Until a week ago, I also lived around the corner from that dry cleaner. I must have walked by it hundreds of times without ever noticing the UQMs.
That kind of freaked me out too. I couldn't quite tell it was a dry cleaner; it looked like they were selling food of some kind. Organic solvents always seemed like something to "avoid".
Wow - I just walked past that sign yesterday and, as usual, thought how silly the quotation marks were, and here today I find this blog...
