My guess is that they want you to know that the title of the maze is "Get Lost" and they're not actually telling you to get lost.
Maybe they're letting you know that the maze isn't really very difficult. :-)

Heh... I think the beauty of Maize Mazeis a bit lost in the USA, where they only seem to grow corn.
I prefer to think of this as the corn maze telling the humans to "get lost".
