Yeah, but this is actually an arguably appropriate use of quotation marks. The sentiment is her statement; it would be inapporpriate if "Big Dance" was in quotes, wouldn't it?
uhhh... it is in quotes. And I think by holding the sign she implies that it's her statement. Quotes still unnecessary.
