Let's see... It can't be quoting anyone. "In store" is not slang or a euphemism. I don't really see how they could be for emphasis. Nope, the excuse-makers are going to have to take a day off.
I am trying to figure out why people use unnecessary quotes. I think there is some weird logic to it that I don't quite "understand."
Let's not overlook the comma error in this one, too.
It's too bad they didn't also quote "Customer Service." MUCH more humor to be had there.
Since when does Safeway require a deposit for a shopping cart??
