fake years


Dan spotted this one in Fargo. Maybe they are trying to use the quotation marks to indicate that the particular pizza you are eating is not from 1956...

  4. Maybe they use the Mayan calendar, but know that it won't fly in America and are therefore conceding to use our crazy calendar. "Since '1956' on your stupid calendar!" Seems a little passive-aggressive to me!

  5. Ha - too funny. Just stumbled upon this blog and am having a great time browsing the entries. When I first saw this picture, it seemed oddly familiar - and then I realized why! I live in Fargo and have passed this sign a number of times.
