I'm as enthusiastic as the next person about bad punctuation, and stupid quotation marks are right up there at the top of the list, but don't you think that it's probably "correct" or "acceptable" to put a "motto" or something like a motto in "quotes"? By the way I am so paranoid whilst typing that I'll make a mistake.

ReplyDeleteanonymous: yeah, I occasionally reiterate that this is the grey area of slogans or catch phrases. Part of the fun here is intentionally obfuscating.
