some "plants"

Desirée writes "This was seen at a Michael's craft store near Northampton, MA. I can only hope that the use of quotation marks around the word 'spring' are to indicate that these are, in fact, fake (and ugly) flowers..."

  1. I would like to point out that your use of quotes inside quotes is incorrect! "some 'plants'" would be correct.

  2. In the post "spring" should have singular quotes, because you have used the double quote to start the quote.

  3. I'll give you 'spring' (see, I fixed it) but I think you're wrong about the title - it only gets quotes around it when they're added in your RSS feed or on the add a comment page.

  4. The "Spring" is actually important. Michaels uses seasons like brands. They actually have a "Spring" label on them. The sign accurately reflects that the "Spring" flowers are on sale, as opposed to the "Summer" flowers.
